The Task
We were tasked to design a brand & visual identity for Facebook India Startup Day with a cohesive visual language to be applied across all physical & digital touchpoints of the event.
Our Approach
Inspired by the Ashoka Chakra, a 24-spoke wheel at the centre of the National Flag of India 🇮🇳, we designed a visual identity for the event that symbolises innovation, with a local touch.
We also developed a visual language that was applied cohesively across various touchpoints of the event including the microsite, posters, social media posts, stage design, keynote presentation, programs showcase, name tags, lanyards & swag for the attendees.
We invited a select group of 100 people with 30+ media in attendance. This was a mix of key industry stakeholders and our program partners, investors and CXOs in the first half, and startup community members in the afternoon masterclasses. We structured the day around 5 components:
Announcements ﹒ Panels ﹒ Awards ﹒ Masterclasses ﹒ Programs Showcase
